When I was approached to volunteer my graphic design skills in support of my son’s hockey association’s annual fundraiser, I was more than happy to help out. The Rustler’s golf tournament is a highly anticipated event that is held each year, and I was honoured to be able to contribute to its success. The association wanted to ensure that everything from the sponsorship signage to the golfers’ scorecards reflected their well-established brand identity. It was my job to design a package that would include all of the necessary elements and that would be appealing to both sponsors and participants. Not only did we raise a significant amount of money for the hockey association, but we also generated a great amount of enthusiasm and excitement for the event. I’m proud to have been able to contribute to such a worthwhile cause.
